Harrington Starr has partnered with an exciting AI-first technology company building an enterprise platform focused on intelligent agents and human workflows. This is a rare opportunity to join at a Scale Up business based in NYC and take real ownership across the full stack — from backend architecture and cloud infrastructure to customer-facing product interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Develop and iterate on modern React-based product interfaces
  • Design, manage and optimise AWS cloud
  • Implement CI/CD processes
  • Design PostgreSQL schemas
  • Build integrations with third-party systems and external APIs
  • Leverage AI and LLM tooling to improve development workflows and platform capabilities

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience across the full stack
  • Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js
  • Strong React experience building and owning production UIs
  • Hands-on AWS experience
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with AI/LLM integrations or regulated environments is advantageous
  • Unrestricted right to work in the US mainly on the EAST COAST
