£90,000 – £105,000 base + uncapped commission + benefits
This is a senior, revenue-owning role within a well-established financial-services technology provider operating at Tier-1 bank scale. The platform sits at the heart of mission-critical trading and market infrastructure, helping global financial institutions monitor, protect and optimise the applications that underpin front-office and trading operations. The business is long-standing, highly profitable, and trusted by the majority of top-tier capital markets firms worldwide.
You’ll take ownership of a defined portfolio of financial-services clients while also driving net-new revenue growth across an allocated territory. This is a true hybrid hunter/farmer role – strategic account management combined with complex new business sales.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for both retention and expansion across an existing customer base, alongside originating and closing new opportunities. Sales cycles are enterprise, technical, and multi-stakeholder in nature.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and growing a portfolio of enterprise financial-services accounts
- Managing contract renewals and expanding revenue through upsell and cross-sell
- Delivering net-new business against a defined growth target
- Running end-to-end sales cycles: discovery → demos → PoCs → proposals → close
- Building senior relationships across technology, operations and business leadership
- Working closely with pre-sales, professional services, client services and marketing
- Maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity qualification
- Acting as the voice of the customer into internal product and leadership teams
This role suits someone comfortable selling into complex, regulated environments where credibility, domain knowledge and trust matter.
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience selling complex enterprise software into capital markets or financial services
- Strong understanding of trading environments and financial-services technology stacks (e.g. front-office systems, market data, electronic trading platforms, risk, infrastructure)
- Proven experience across both new business acquisition and account growth
- Comfortable running long, multi-threaded sales cycles with technical and commercial stakeholders
- Confident presenting, demoing and leading PoCs with clear success criteria
- Commercially sharp, well-organised, and collaborative in approach
- Willingness to travel occasionally across EMEA where required
