A highly-backed AI firm entering a major growth phase is hiring one of its first commercial-facing technical hires in London. The position sits somewhere between Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Forward Deployed Engineering, Technical Consulting, and AI Implementation.
The business is building advanced AI technology designed to crawl, interpret, and operationalise complex internal knowledge environments - including codebases, documentation, workflows, and enterprise systems. Their first major institutional client is already secured. Now they need someone capable of helping enterprise banking customers successfully implement, adopt, and maximise the value of the platform.
The Environment
This is an early-stage company with serious backing, significant ambition, and genuine momentum. The founding team combines deep enterprise technology expertise with strong banking relationships and senior credibility across financial services. The London operation is being built now, with expansion planned across both the UK and US. You’ll join early enough to have real influence over:
- Client engagement strategy
- Product feedback loops
- Implementation processes
- Commercial growth
- Long-term customer outcomes
The culture is fast-moving, intelligent, energetic, and highly entrepreneurial.
The Role
You’ll work directly with enterprise banking clients, acting as the bridge between technical delivery and commercial success. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting enterprise onboarding and implementation projects
- Working closely with users to drive adoption and business value
- Acting as a technical and consultative point of contact for clients
- Helping shape solutions around customer workflows and requirements
- Translating technical concepts into commercially meaningful outcomes
- Feeding customer insights back into product and engineering teams
- Supporting strategic pre-sales conversations and proof-of-concepts
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across banking organisations
This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to both clients and leadership.
What They’re Looking For
The ideal profile is someone who combines:
- Strong communication skills
- Technical curiosity and aptitude – they would love a vibe coder!
- Banking domain understanding
- Energy, presence, and credibility with enterprise clients
Likely backgrounds could include:
- Solutions Engineering
- Technical Customer Success
- Sales Engineering
- Forward Deployed Engineering
- Product Specialist roles
- Technical Consulting within fintech or banking technology
Requirements:
- Roughly 4–8 years’ experience working within or alongside banking environments
- Ability to operate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
- Strong client-facing capability and commercial awareness
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
- Early-stage AI business with major institutional backing
- Opportunity to join before significant scale-up
- Direct exposure to senior banking stakeholders
- Blend of commercial, technical, and strategic work
- Genuine ability to influence product and company direction
- Strong long-term upside potential
This is the type of opportunity that rarely comes to market openly at this stage of a company’s growth.
