A leading exchange/trading technology business is looking for an experienced Business Analyst contractor to support a high-priority programme building out matching engine functionality. The team is adding resource urgently and is open to hiring multiple contractors for this project.
The role: You will help define and specify functionality for the next phase of a multi-phase exchange technology programme. The current phase is nearing completion, and the focus is moving into fixed income and structured products. There is a slight preference for structured products experience, but strong fixed income profiles are also relevant.
Candidate profile: The preferred person is a technical BA or implementation consultant-style profile with strong individual contributor capability, with strong knowledge of exchange connectivity in FS traded products.
Key responsibilities:
- Specify business and functional requirements for matching engine functionality
- Support the next phase of product build-out across fixed income and structured products
- Work closely with stakeholders in a fast-moving delivery environment
- Bring strong domain understanding of exchange connectivity, trading workflows, and market structure
Ideal background: We are looking for experienced, hands-on profiles who have done this before. Strong candidates are likely to come from one of the following environments:
- Sell-side brokers with direct exchange connectivity experience
- Trading venues/exchanges with matching engine exposure
Relevant experience includes work involving:
- Matching engines
