Harrington Starr has partnered up with a Global Financial Payments company who is looking to hire a Head of Development and join an Engineering Team in London where you will work and look after a team of 20 Engineers. They are a Payments company that provides systems for the Banking, Crypto and Digital Payments APIs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead engineering teams building core Payments Platform
- Own architecture and delivery of systems covering data, workflows, and controls
- Drive platform scalability, resilience, and regulatory readiness
- Develop engineering leaders and embed strong delivery discipline
What we’re looking for:
- Senior leadership experience and hands-on Development in Claude-Code AI Engineers
- Experience and hands-on Development with JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS
- Expert experience with NESTJS Framework
- Strong domain knowledge across Payments or Fintech
- Able to bridge technical execution with business and client requirements
