About the business

What you’ll do:

  • Take commercial ownership of a defined institutional client segment, including pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and insurers.
  • Develop senior relationships with decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor on index construction and product development.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities while deepening penetration across existing strategic accounts.
  • Represent the business at client meetings, pitches and internal training sessions.
  • Manage deals end-to-end, from initial conversation through to commercial negotiation and sign-off.
  • Partner with internal product and engineering teams to feed client insight back into the roadmap.
  • Travel regularly to build and maintain a strong regional client network.

What you’ll bring:

  • A strong track record selling into, or working alongside, institutional/asset owner clients.
  • Prior experience in indices, benchmarks or financial data.
  • A commercially sharp, target-driven approach to new business development.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving commercial environment.

Desirable:

  • Fluency in an additional European language.
