Software Engineer

Salary Range: £75,000 – £110,000

Harrington Starr has partnered with a boutique Investment Bank, with decades of experience and exceptional performance. They are currently seeking to hire a Polyglot Engineer possessing strong experience developing front office applications and systems, integrating with 3rd party vendors and APIs, written in C# and Python.

This is an opportunity to be responsible for the development of exciting new greenfield applications right at the heart of the front office, with daily interaction with Traders and a host of stakeholders across all levels of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new front office application utilising C#, .NET, Python
• Working on internal systems to maintain quality and standards
• Integration of real-time and historical data with 3rd party APIs – Bloomberg, FactSet and Fidessa
• Utilising historical data for analytics, automation and strategic decision making
• Integration of modern technologies and use of AI
• Daily interaction to quickly solve any issues for front office

Key Requirements:

• BSc Computer Science or related Mathematical degree
• Excellent knowledge and experience developing with C#, .NET, Python
• Strong experience with 3rd party APIs
• Good experience developing front office systems, interacting with various stakeholders
• Excellent communication
• Strong commercial development experience with AI technologies
• Un-restricted right to work in the UK
