A leading global financial markets organisation is seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to join its Group Treasury function, supporting one of the most sophisticated corporate insurance programmes in the UK market.

This role sits within a small, high-performing team responsible for protecting a complex international business operating across multiple jurisdictions, regulatory environments and risk profiles. Working closely with senior treasury leadership and the wider finance organisation, you'll have genuine influence over insurance strategy, governance and risk transfer decisions across the group.

The position has arisen to cover a senior leader during maternity leave, creating an opportunity to step into a highly visible role with significant stakeholder exposure and the potential for longer-term opportunities for the right individual.

The Role
\n
This is a high-impact corporate insurance role with ownership across global insurance placements, insurance governance and strategic risk management initiatives.
\n
You'll be responsible for:
\n
- \n
- Supporting the delivery of the group's global insurance strategy across multiple territories and business lines
- Leading selected insurance renewals and placements while supporting larger programme negotiations with brokers and insurers
- Managing multinational insurance programmes, including local policies, premium administration and compliance requirements
- Acting as a trusted adviser to stakeholders on insurance-related risk decisions and contractual insurance obligations
- Supporting M&A activity through insurance due diligence, transaction support and post-acquisition integration
- Identifying emerging insurable risks and recommending effective risk transfer solutions
- Driving improvements to insurance governance, frameworks and first-line ownership of insurance risk
- Managing complex stakeholder relationships across Treasury, Finance, Legal, Risk and business leadership teams
- Supporting claims activity and crisis response where required
- Deputising for senior insurance leadership when necessary

What We're Looking For
\n
- \n
- Extensive experience within corporate insurance, insurance broking or carrier environments
- Strong in-house insurance experience within financial services, banking, exchanges or other highly regulated sectors
- Proven Financial Lines experience is considered a key requirement
- Strong understanding of multinational insurance programmes and global insurance markets
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across complex international organisations
- Exposure to M&A activity, corporate transactions or insurance due diligence would be highly beneficial
- ACII qualification or equivalent insurance credentials are highly desirable
