We are partnering with a boutique asset manager to hire a hands‑on Desktop Support Manager to lead its end‑user technology support function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, service‑driven professional to take ownership of desktop support in a high‑performance investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the desktop support team, driving service excellence.
- Provide hands‑on technical support and manage escalations.
- Deliver first‑class VIP support to investment professionals and senior stakeholders.
- Oversee Windows, Microsoft 365, endpoint management and device deployment.
- Drive improvements across service delivery, security and operational resilience.
- Manage external IT providers and support technology projects.
About You
- Experience in desktop support or EUC leadership, ideally within financial services.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and endpoint technologies.
- Proven experience supporting senior stakeholders in a demanding environment.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting and team leadership skills.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience within asset management, hedge funds or investment banking would be advantageous.
Salary: Up to £70,000
