Overview
Harrington Starr have partnered with a global financial services business based in London (city) to help identify an Operational/ Business Resilience Manager. This new role has a huge amount of potential for the right candidate, and will form part of a small but specialist team. Role can be based in London or Newcastle.
Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to confirm business continuity plans are fit for purpose and published
- Play a key role in internal and external audits
- Support the organisation in maintaining ISO22301 and DORA frameworks/ certifications
- Risk identification and tracking of remediation
- Ensure local resilience stakeholders are aware of obligations and supported
- Coordinate and report on the Operational Resilience deliverables in conjunction with stakeholders
- Horizon scanning for new continuity threats to the organisation
- Support Due Diligence responses and client queries relating to the organisation’s resilience
- Working across all business units – technology, finance, risk etc to champion business and operational resilience
- User awareness training
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 years+ in a similar business/operational resilience role (open to candidates with less experience dependent on experience)
- Demonstrable business facing experience
- Knowledge of ISO 22301 frameworks
- Financial experience preferred
