Overview
Harrington Starr is currently working with a leading broker based in London to help secure an Application Support Analyst. This role provides support for all trading and back-office platforms for internal and external clients. You will be responsible for first, second, and third-line support to business users.
Responsibilities
- Liaise between technology departments and business groups to communicate system changes and manage process and trading system documentation.
- Manage vendor upgrades and implementations, and handle exchange relationships.
- Participate in client onboarding as part of the role.
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of a Windows environment, including PowerShell, Python and SQL
- Experience in a financial services firm/institution, ideally banking, investment banking and brokers
- Knowledge in FIX messaging
- Knowledge of market connectivity protocols for key global derivative, commodity, cash and equity markets, Fixed Income and Prime Brokerage
- Experience in the technical onboarding of new APIs and systems
