We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Specialist – Biochemistry (North) to join our team, supporting the growth and success of our biochemistry diagnostic portfolio across the UK. This field-based position involves regular travel to customer sites and company offices for meetings, training, and collaboration.
The Role
- Provide technical, application, and commercial support to customers and internal teams.
- Develop and implement tailored technical support plans based on customer needs.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and develop new opportunities within the biochemistry diagnostics market.
- Present product solutions and value propositions to prospective and existing clients.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments, including Product Management, Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Operations.
- Contribute to the business’s commercial strategy for biochemistry products.
- Offer support to R&D initiatives and product development projects.
- Provide assistance to other business areas as required.
The Person
- Holds a BSc in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or a closely related field.
- Previous experience within the UK IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics), clinical, or laboratory diagnostics sector.
- Strong technical understanding of biochemistry instrumentation and assays.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, great relationship builder.
- Proven ability to prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and relevant laboratory or data analysis software.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel regularly.
- Adaptable, organised, and confident working both independently and collaboratively.
