Role Purpose:
To contribute to the success of the organization through detailed, efficient sales and professional communication internally and externally with customers and suppliers, in alignment with company business objectives. This is a diverse role requiring the completion of various tasks supporting multiple departments. It requires good judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in all situations.
While the role covers a broad product range, the primary focus will be on products within the Scientific Division.
Reporting Relationships:
- Direct Report: Scientific Sales Manager
- Indirect Report: General Manager
Principal Accountabilities:
The role of Technical Field Sales Representative for the Scientific Division includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Account management
- Preparing and following up on quotations via email and phone
- Business development through:
- Maintaining and growing existing relationships
- Using market segmentation and competitive analysis to access new markets
Requirements:
- A life Science background
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience within the scientific sales, preferably selling laboratory equipment
- Experience selling through distributer advantageous
- A valid UK driving license
