SAP Supply Chain Architect (Logistics & Transport - SAP TM) Austria (Hybrid) Full-time, Permanent Overview: A global enterprise is launching a major, multi-year S/4HANA digital transformation. To support this initiative, they are hiring an internal SAP Solution Architect focused on Transportation Management (SAP TM) This is a strategic architecture and solution design role, not a hands on configuration position. You will own the global design, steer technical decision-making, evaluate business requirements, and guide third-party integration partners. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end solution architecture for supply chain execution, with a primary focus on SAP Transportation Management (TM). Design standardized, scalable logistics and transport workflows within an S/4HANA core environment. Oversee integration points between SAP TM and adjacent Enterprise Architecture landscapes. Collaborate with executive business leaders, enterprise architects, and external implementation partners. Challenge non-standard requests to prioritize core SAP best practices and long-term maintainability. Drive the creation and international rollout of a unified global template. Serve as the principal internal subject matter expert for transport and supply chain execution processes. Guide cutover, go-live phases, and subsequent global rollout waves. Candidate Requirements Extensive track record in SAP delivery, either through management consulting or internal corporate lead roles. Deep functional and architectural background in SAP TM / S/4HANA Transportation Management. Demonstrated experience leading solution design on large-scale S/4HANA transformation programmes. Strong domain expertise across end-to-end logistics, shipping, and supply chain execution. Proven ability to challenge stakeholder requirements and influence senior-level architectural decisions. Experience managing external system integrators and third-party delivery teams
