Senior SAP Fiori Consultant
£400 - £500 per day outside IR35
Hybrid, with on-site travel as required
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior SAP Fiori Consultant to support an ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation. The successful consultant will take ownership of SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration, application deployment and in-app reporting. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical knowledge of Fiori, alongside the ability to work directly with business users, functional consultants, SAP Security and Basis teams.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud would be highly beneficial, although strong Private Cloud or on-premise S/4HANA experience may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain SAP Fiori Launchpad
- Set up and manage spaces, pages, catalogues, business roles, tiles and target mappings
- Configure role-based access in collaboration with SAP Security and Basis teams
- Activate, deploy and troubleshoot standard SAP Fiori applications
- Support OData service activation, transport management and application deployment
- Deliver SAP Fiori in-app reporting and embedded analytical solutions
- Work with CDS-based reports, analytical applications, KPI tiles and operational reporting
- Assess business requirements and recommend standard SAP functionality before custom development
- Design and deliver Fiori extensions or custom SAPUI5 applications where required
- Work with business and functional teams to improve the end-user experience
- Support testing, defect resolution, UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare
- Produce clear technical and configuration documentation
- Ensure solutions comply with SAP best practices, security and accessibility requirements
Essential Experience:
- Strong hands-on SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration experience
- Experience configuring spaces, pages, catalogues, roles, tiles and target mappings
- Strong SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 knowledge
- Experience delivering in-app reporting or embedded analytics
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA
- Knowledge of OData services, authorisations and Fiori app activation
- Ability to troubleshoot Launchpad, application and access-related issues
- Experience delivering Fiori solutions through the full project lifecycle
- SAP Fiori Apps Manager experience
Desirable Experience:
- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience
- Experience with RAP, CAP, CDS Views or Fiori Elements
- SAP BTP and Business Application Studio experience
- Experience extending standard SAP Fiori applications
- Relevant SAP Fiori, UI5, BTP or S/4HANA certifications
