We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Horticulturist / Specialist Gardener to join a growing private estate in Kent undergoing significant landscaping and garden development. This is a rare opportunity for someone who genuinely loves plants, gardens and estate presentation to help shape and maintain an ambitious long-term vision. The estate includes formal gardens, woodland, ponds and future Mediterranean-inspired landscaping alongside the development of a luxury equestrian facility. We are looking for someone with a strong horticultural eye who can help curate and maintain gardens of exceptional quality and beauty.
Responsibilities
- Planting design and implementation
- Seasonal planting and garden management
- Maintaining formal gardens and borders
- Care of specimen plants and trees
- Mediterranean and structured garden planting
- Irrigation management
- Greenhouse/orangery care
- Lawn and topiary presentation
- Supporting pond and water feature planting
- Assisting with estate-wide landscaping projects
- Maintaining immaculate presentation standards across the property
