Dental hygiene and good oral health can help prevent gum disease or tooth decay and play an important role in dental health education. As an oral health educator, you are responsible for informing patients about the importance and benefits of regular and correct oral healthcare. You will also teach them how to practice the correct oral hygiene methods and maintain healthy teeth and gums.

This course is a great opportunity to develop your career in the dental industry. In 2018, the General Dental Council introduced the enhanced CPD scheme for all dental professionals, including dental nurses. Our postgraduate Oral Health Education Course offers a great opportunity for you to meet the required CPD training as well as excellent career progression.

The Curriculum for the Certificate in Oral Health, approved by the NEBDN, covers skills such as being able to describe, explain, identify, and demonstrate the message of oral health to patients.
