We have an excellent opportunity for a self‑motivated and ambitious individual to join our friendly Engineering team! The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the internal and external customer demands are achieved, quality standards are met and labour efficiencies are maximised within a safe working environment. As a member of the Engineering Team, the successful applicant will be hands‑on in their approach to machine maintenance on a day‑to‑day basis whilst collaboratively driving continuous improvement within the Engineering Department as well as with Production Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders and Procurement.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, the team combines strong technical expertise with a practical, problem‑solving mindset. You’ll be joining a supportive culture where knowledge is shared, ideas are valued, and everyone plays a key role in keeping our operations running efficiently and safely.

Essential Skills
  • Experience using MS Office packages
  • Good written, verbal and digital communication skills
  • Educated to GCSE A-C in Maths, English and Science, or equivalent
  • An understanding of and exposure to the principles and tools of lean manufacturing (e.g., standardisation of processes, workflow, structured problem solving, 5S and continuous improvement processes etc)
  • Awareness of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice
  • Analytical approach in understanding data
  • Excellent knowledge of production processes
  • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance and fault finding capabilities
