We have an exciting opportunity to join our Harrier Print team as Production Controller. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role responsible for coordinating the production workflow of Harrier Print, ensuring jobs are delivered efficiently, accurately and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Account Managers, Production Line Managers and Production Operatives, you will drive quality, reduce waste, manage stock levels through Tharstern, and provide effective solutions for high-profile and short-turnaround projects.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Effectively communicate with team, support staff and managers.
- Work closely with all account managers.
- Support the team to maintain the highest process standards, including quality and workflow.
- Produce work to agreed SLA and agree timescale for important high-level jobs.
- Produce work to agreed quality standard.
- Actively contribute to minimising waste, running waste reports daily and reporting to line managers where improvements measures need to take place.
Experience and Key Skills Required
- Experience and proven ability in supervising people and tasks.
- Experience within a fast-paced production environment.
- Full understanding of commercial print.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office tools & Tharstern.
- Quality awareness and focus.
- Ability to give direction, motivate and lead others, including training and upskilling.
- Effective communication between multiple departments.
- Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to effectively organise own/others workload.
- Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
