If you have:
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (desirable)
- Strong organisational, decision-making, and prioritisation skills
- Proven experience supervising people and managing workloads
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach and train others
- The ability to motivate teams, achieve targets, and maintain a strong focus on quality
And you are able to:
- Communicate effectively with team members, support staff, and managers
- Monitor individual performance and attendance, escalating concerns to the Line Manager when required
- Lead the team to maintain process compliance, cleanliness, and health and safety standards
- Motivate the team to achieve daily targets and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Ensure all work is completed to agreed quality standards while minimising waste
- Make a positive contribution to overall team performance and business objectives
Purpose of the role: The main purpose of this role is to lead an efficient and engaged team through support and motivation. Maintaining a strong skills base, ensuring appropriate training and development and sustain high levels of performance in terms of outputs, quality, wastage and behaviours. A fast paced, active and hands on role that will contribute to the overall success and objectives of the department and wider business. Shift patterns will be night shifts and will be discussed in more detail during interview.
