The Cornwall Hotel Collection is a locally owned group of four distinctive hotels, each with its own character, history and sense of place. We are looking for a calm, confident and dependable Night Manager to join the team at The Falmouth.
Please note the shift pattern is 4 on 4 off.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of the hotel throughout the night.
- Lead and support the night team.
- Welcome late-arriving guests and respond to guest requests.
- Complete overnight checks and ensure the hotel is safe and secure.
- Deal calmly and appropriately with any incidents or emergencies.
- Complete night audit, records and handovers accurately.
- Identify and report maintenance, security and health & safety issues.
- Ensure the hotel is clean, presentable and ready for the morning team.
- Follow all company procedures, including fire and security procedures.
Requirements
- Previous hotel, hospitality or customer service experience is desirable.
- Calm, confident and professional manner.
- Reliable and comfortable working independently.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident dealing with unexpected situations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible to work nights, weekends and bank holidays where required.
