Bartender

We’re looking for a Bartender to join the team at The Chalk Freehouse in Chelsea, part of the Tom Kerridge Group.
Located just off King’s Road, The Chalk is a vibrant, characterful freehouse bringing together great food, excellent drinks and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic bartender who enjoys creating a great experience for every guest.
About the role
As a Bartender at The Chalk, you’ll be at the heart of the action, delivering friendly and knowledgeable service while helping to create a lively atmosphere.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing and serving a range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails
- Providing warm, engaging and knowledgeable service to our guests
- Taking orders and ensuring drinks are prepared and served efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation behind the bar
- Supporting the wider front of house team throughout service
- Keeping on top of stock, glassware and bar supplies
- Ensuring the bar is fully prepared before service and left clean and organised afterwards
- Following all licensing, health and safety and company procedures
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident and naturally engaging with guests
- Passionate about great drinks and hospitality
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- A strong team player who enjoys working alongside others
- Well presented, organised and reliable
- Keen to learn and develop their knowledge of drinks and hospitality
- Previous bartending experience is preferred, but we’re happy to consider the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn
