We are currently looking for a passionate Financial Controller (Maternity Cover) to join our Finance Department, with an immediate start to join us in consistently delivering memorable moments and five-star service to our guests and each other. As a Financial Controller (Maternity Cover), your main duties and expectations for the role will include:

  • Lead the hotel finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow reports
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and income audit functions
  • Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal controls
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and year-end audit processes
  • Monitor financial performance and provide commercial insight to operational teams
  • Support revenue management and cost-control initiatives across all departments
  • Drive process improvements and maintain strong financial governance
  • Manage and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and development

You will be required to work such hours as are necessary to fulfil your duties and in any event not less than hours.
