About Us:
We are a small, busy, family-run pub in the heart of Hammersmith. We take pride in our fresh food, friendly team, and welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a reliable Part-Time Kitchen Porter to join our small kitchen family and help keep things running smoothly.
The Role:
- Hours: Part-time (approx. 15-20 hours per week), including evenings and weekends. Can be more for the right individual
- Pay: Dependant on experience + a share of staff tips.
- Location: Hammersmith, London (W6) - excellent transport links.
What You'll Do:
- Keep the washing-up area organised and clean.
- Wash plates, cutlery, pots, and pans (using our commercial dishwasher and by hand).
- Assist the chefs with basic food prep (peeling veg, prepping simple ingredients) during quieter times.
- Maintain excellent hygiene standards and empty bins safely.
- Help accept and put away food deliveries.
What We Are Looking For:
- A hard worker with a positive, team-player attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality - we are a small team, so everyone counts!
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous kitchen experience is a bonus, but not essential - we will happily train the right person.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
