The Role

Located in The Nici Hotels Bournemouth central office, reporting to the Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel. This position is ideal for someone with hospitality finance experience who is looking to grow their career within a dynamic luxury hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Manage daily revenue and settlement auditing
  • Reconcile bank hotel bank accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Support Financial Controller with payroll and cost control procedures
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies
  • Work closely with department heads to monitor operational performance and costs
  • Assist with cash flow monitoring and reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Assist with year-end accounts and external audits

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a finance role within hospitality, hotels, or leisure
  • Part-qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems
  • Excellent diligence and analytical skills
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
