HARP is Southend-on-Sea’s leading homelessness charity and every year we work with around 1,000 local people to help them overcome or avoid homelessness.
It is an exciting time to be joining HARP. The organisation has undergone significant change and growth over the past twelve months and we have ambitious plans for the future which will continue to transform lives.
About The Role
We’re looking for a friendly and organised Supporter Engagement Assistant to help deliver an outstanding experience for everyone who supports HARP.
You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our amazing donors and fundraisers, helping to build lasting relationships, deliver excellent stewardship, and support key fundraising campaigns.
It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills and play a vital role in tackling homelessness in Southend.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to supporter enquiries and thank donors promptly and professionally
- Deliver engaging supporter journeys and provide ongoing fundraising support
- Maintain accurate supporter records in our CRM (Salesforce)
- Help deliver fundraising campaigns, direct mailings, and events
- Research potential donors and identify opportunities for growth
- Gather inspiring supporter stories for use across digital and print channels
- Support reporting and analysis to improve supporter experience
- Contribute to the development of products like our lottery and regular giving
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and HARP’s privacy policies
