HARP is Southend-on-Sea’s leading homelessness charity and every year we work with around 1,000 local people to help them overcome or avoid homelessness.

HARP is currently recruiting for a Property Coordinator to join our property team.
The property team maintains and continuously upgrades the charities facilities and stock. The team successfully works in conjunction with the operations team and has very strong and close links with all the teams throughout the organisation .This ensures efficient and effective facilities management and building upkeep.
Reporting to the Property Team Manager, the post holder will:
Actively work within the property/facilities team and alongside the Operations Service to maintain a high standard of maintenance and new works as required. To pro-actively assist with the delivery of the Facilities Management Services across all our sites both owned or leased by HARP.
The ideal candidate will possess :
- Hands on experience and current qualifications personally gained and achieved to carry out building maintenance/improvement works as directed by the Property Team Manager i.e. To carry out hands on multi-trader minor repairs both planned and reactive to our portfolio. This will also involve isolating and making it safe prior to a full repair.
- A good general knowledge and understanding of buildings their associated facilities
- Ability to manage their own workload and schedule works as directed by the Property Team Manger
- To carry out a high standard of schedule works as directed by the Property Team Manager
- Self-motivated with the confidence to work alone but can also work co-operatively and flexibly as part of a team.
