CRM Manager
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Sheffield or Birmingham office)
We’re searching for an ambitious CRM Manager to take full ownership of our HubSpot platform and play a key role in supporting teams across the business to drive growth and work more efficiently. About Harper James
Harper James is a national commercial law firm designed to support entrepreneurial businesses from start-up to exit. We aspire to disrupt the model for which legal services are provided to businesses. The firm’s innovative approach to delivering highly tailored and accessible legal advice is considered genuinely different to the establishment.
Harper James was founded in 2014 and continues to grow at c25-30%+ year on year. This year, more than 150 people will support 4,000+ businesses and we expect to double in size over the next 2-3 years.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of our HubSpot CRM, running day-to-day management and always looking for ways to improve efficiency across the business.
- Work independently and drive CRM projects from idea to delivery, identifying ways to streamline and automate processes.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, onboarding, client services, account management, IT and other functions to ensure HubSpot meets everyone’s needs and integrates well with other systems.
- Build and maintain workflows, automations, and segmentations to support lead generation, retention, and client engagement.
- Create reports and dashboards that give insight into sales, marketing, and client activity, and share trends and recommendations with the wider team.
- Monitor CRM data quality and security, oversee regular data checks, and make sure we’re following GDPR guidelines.
- Deliver user training and ongoing support to help everyone get the best out of HubSpot.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in CRM and HubSpot functionalities, continually identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Candidate skills & experience
- Substantial hands-on experience managing HubSpot CRM is essential, with a proven ability to work independently and see projects through from start to finish.
- Skilled at collaborating across departments and understanding different teams’ needs.
- Strong analytical skills; able to interpret CRM data, create insightful reports and dashboards, and use analytics tools effectively.
- Confident in building and improving workflows and automations, and supporting integrations with other platforms and systems.
- Experienced in designing and managing deal and ticket pipelines to support sales, onboarding, and client account management processes.
- Experienced with email marketing, segmentation, and automated workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; enjoys supporting and training colleagues on new systems and processes.
- Deep knowledge of GDPR and how it applies to CRM data management.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-focused.
What we can offer you
- £40-50k depending on experience.
