The Role
Harper provides an effortless and personal premium at-home shopping experience, acting as brand ambassadors for our partners. We deliver a world class experience to customers, giving advice and recommendations to ensure they are happy with their purchase choices and extracting the maximum experience from their chosen brand.
We are now looking for a Stockroom Assistant to become a valued member of our operations team. In this role, you will be central to keeping our behind the scenes operation running smoothly, maintaining a well-organised, efficient stockroom at our North West London hub and ensuring every item is handled with care and precision. We are looking for individuals who are methodical, quick learners, and bring a positive, can-do attitude to everything they do.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the smooth receipt of incoming goods, prioritising accuracy and speed
- Prepare appointment orders to a flawless standard within required timeframes
- Improve cross-docking efficiency and accuracy across stockroom operations
- Process returns for our partner brands within agreed SLAs
- Monitor error logs and proactively implement improvements
- Develop and maintain processes that optimise stockroom space and equipment
- Actively improve stock allocation timeframes
- Carry out regular stock checks to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Drive efficiencies across all aspects of the stockroom to support seamless scalability
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the stockroom and Health & Safety measures
Requirements
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or similar environment
- A hands on, proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving workflows and responsibilities
- A customer centric mindset with a “can do” attitude to deliver exceptional service
- Proficiency using tech based solutions with quick adaptability to new systems and processes
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
- Must be able to lift up to 20kg
- Experience working in eCommerce, strong knowledge of platforms and industry practices
- Fleet management experience is a plus
We are closed on Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. We work all other days.
