About Harper
Harper is pioneering the next generation of online shopping. We bring the fitting room experience directly to customers at home, giving them the freedom to touch, feel and try on items before they buy. No upfront payment. No credit. Just the confidence to shop the way you always could in store, from wherever you are. The result is a shopping experience that turns hesitant browsers into confident shoppers, and a commercial proposition retailers can measure. Stronger conversion, customers who come back, and growth that comes from serving people better. We work with some of the world's leading fashion brands, including Paul Smith, ME+EM, Victoria Beckham, Mint Velvet, Universal Works and many more. We are building the infrastructure for a new era of online retail.
The role
We are hiring a B2B Marketing Manager to help grow and deepen one of the most exciting networks in retail technology. Over the years we have built close relationships with the senior ecommerce, digital and commercial leaders who matter most in fashion and retail. Our events, from intimate breakfast roundtables to invite-only industry dinners, are some of the most well-regarded in the industry. The people in those rooms are the people we partner with. This role is about making sure we stay front of mind with the brands that matter most to us. We have a defined list of target brands: some we know well, some we are just beginning to build relationships with. Your job is to nurture that list, bringing the right people to the right events, finding creative ways to open doors, and making sure Harper is always the name they think of first. That means owning our events programme end-to-end, managing outreach and follow-up with real care and consistency, and building Harper's presence on LinkedIn in a way that keeps our network engaged. It is relationship-led work, underpinned by commercial intent and supported by a CRM that you will keep meticulously up to date.
What you will own
- Events: Own Harper's events calendar: planning, venue sourcing, logistics and on-the-day management for intimate roundtables and breakfast events, typically 10-20 senior attendees. Build researched, targeted invite lists. Write personalised invitations and manage all outreach, RSVPs and attendance. Brief and coordinate speakers or co-hosts where relevant. Follow up with every attendee personally within 24 hours, log all interactions in HubSpot and move warm conversations into pipeline. Track event performance: attendance rates, meetings generated and pipeline influenced.
- Business development: Own Harper's defined list of target brands, ensuring consistent and meaningful touchpoints across the year. Write personalised outreach that opens real conversations. Book and attend introductory calls and meetings with senior contacts at target brands. Craft value-add emails and materials for brands in nurture — industry insights, relevant case studies, timely touchpoints that keep Harper front of mind without being noise. Build and grow Harper's presence on LinkedIn through regular, considered posting and engagement that keeps our network active and aware.
- CRM and pipeline: Keep HubSpot clean and current: contacts, deal stages, follow-up tasks and last-contacted dates updated after every interaction. Build and maintain contact lists and segmentation across Harper's network. Report weekly on meetings booked, events delivered and pipeline generated. Flag risks early.
About You
We are not prescriptive about your background, but the profile we are hiring for looks something like this:
- You have worked in a B2B marketing role, ideally at a SaaS or tech company, and you know what good prospecting looks like from the inside.
- You are comfortable owning a CRM and being accountable to clear output-based KPIs.
- You have run events as part of a role and understand what it takes to get the right people in the room, and what to do the morning after.
- You write brilliantly: clear, considered and human. Not templated.
- You are disciplined about follow-through. The email the next morning matters as much as the conversation the night before.
- You are commercially curious. You want to understand the brands you are reaching out to, not just contact them.
- Experience in ecommerce, retail or fashion-tech is a bonus, not a requirement.
What is in it for you
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
- Meaningful share options, at a stage where these can grow significantly as Harper does.
- 32 days holiday, with the flexibility to take public holidays whenever suits you.
- £600 Juno wellbeing allowance annually, tax free and yours to spend on anything that works for you: self-care, cleaning, fitness and more.
- MacBook and the tools you need to do your best work.
- Based at Highgate Studios (Tues-Thurs), one of London's best creative campuses, with a cafe, bike storage, showers and great social spaces. A short walk from Kentish Town Underground and Thameslink, and Gospel Oak Overground.
- A close-knit team where everyone's voice is heard, ownership is real and the work genuinely matters.
