Permanent Nottingham - Office Based Full Time Monday - Friday (08.00 - 16.00)

Harper Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a well-established, highly prestigious Nottingham based organisation. Due to expansion, their small and well-established HR team are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join them. The successful HR Advisor will be pivotal in forging sustainable and effective relationships with the SMT, supporting on compliance, policy, record keeping and general HR practices.

What will the role involve?

  • Maintain and update the HRIS system with employee new starter data, contract and leavers information
  • Manage ongoing staffing cases and liaise with external 3rd parties including lawyers and auditors
  • Contributing to weekly internal compliance audits reviewing records and identifying any issues
  • Lead on recruitment campaigns, undertake right to work checks and related documentation
  • Oversee policy changes and communicate changes to stakeholders and staff
  • Maintain an accessible suite of policies for both HR and Compliance

Who are we looking for?

  • CIPD Level 5 certified or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor role essential
  • Competent user of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical with attention to detail and an appreciation for confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate and create superb stakeholder relationships
