We are looking for a Data Steward who will be responsible for creating and maintaining important business data (like customer and vendor information) across our global systems. Sometimes, you may also work with product (material) data to balance the teamβs workload. Your work will focus on keeping data accurate, secure, and consistent, while helping the business use data more effectively to reach its goals.
Duties
- Create and update customer and vendor data in SAP MDG.
- Make sure all data processes follow company policies and standards.
- Consistently meet performance goals (SLA and KPI targets).
- Review data quality reports and identify ways to improve.
- Ensure all master data is reliable, traceable, authentic, and secure.
- Train and support others on SAP and data management tools.
- Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders and a representative of the Data Management team.
- Work closely with business teams to build effective solutions.
Skills/Experience Required
- 3 β 5 years of related professional experience
- Competent with SAP master data and data governance tools (SAP S/4 HANA and SAP MDG toolbox preferred)
- Ideally, have experience working in credit or customer service
- Able to work at a fast pace and passionate about data quality
