A growing UK business is hiring a Head of FP&A to lead its planning and analysis function, reporting to the CFO. A broad, high-impact role owning budgeting, forecasting, reporting and commercial decision support across the business.

You will build and run the planning and analysis engine the leadership team relies on, turning operational drivers into clear, forward-looking insight. It suits someone commercial and hands-on who enjoys both the rigour of the numbers and partnering with senior leaders to shape decisions.

What you will do:

  • Own the annual budget, reforecasts and long-range planning process.
  • Lead monthly performance reporting and leadership-level analysis.
  • Build driver-based models linking operational activity to financial outcomes.
  • Partner with leaders across the business on commercial and investment decisions.
  • Strengthen forecasting accuracy, governance and cash-flow visibility.
  • Drive improvement and automation across finance processes and systems.

What you will bring:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong FP&A experience.
  • A track record of building or running a planning and analysis function.
  • Strong modelling and commercial-analysis skills.
  • Confidence partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • A genuine appetite for process improvement and systems.
