An opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join our Glasgow team. We will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you need to tackle the switchboard with ease, assist staff with day to day duties and provide first class hospitality to clients and colleagues in our busy law firm.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Meeting, greeting, and interacting with visitors in the reception area
- Handle telephone enquiries in a polite & professional manner within the agreed timescales
- Processing and confirming meeting room booking requests
- Meeting room set up and hospitality
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Organising taxis, couriers and distributing mail and faxes
- Ordering, organising, and assisting with hospitality at events
- Setting up audio visual systems and trouble-shooting problems
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the reception area
- Ensuring that security to the building is maintained in line with guidance and standard operating procedures
- Carrying out reception training for any cover team members and identifying ongoing training needs for the cover team
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Experience of Microsoft office
- Experience in reception or similar client facing role
- Ability to use initiative
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
