Digital Marketing & Communications Executive (Maternity Cover)

The Role

We’re looking for a talented digital marketing & communications professional to join our marketing team on a maternity cover basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of fast-paced digital communications. You’ll take on a varied and rewarding role spanning content creation, digital marketing, SEO and media activity – helping to bring our brand to life across multiple channels.

Working closely with our PR & Communications Manager and Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll support the delivery of integrated campaigns that enhance our profile, engage our audiences and support the firm’s continued growth.

We’re looking for someone with strong writing skills, a passion for digital, and the confidence to work with colleagues across the business.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with three or more years’ experience, looking to broaden their skills across both PR and digital in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

Digital marketing & campaign delivery

  • Support delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels
  • Support on creation of social media content, including paid campaigns
  • Assist with email marketing activity and campaign execution
  • Contribute to campaign planning and continuous improvement
  • Carry out keyword research and support on-page SEO optimisation, keeping website content fresh and relevant
  • Create, edit and publish content using CMS platforms such as WordPress

Content & communications

  • Create high-quality written content for a range of channels, including website, social media, email campaigns and internal communications
  • Support the development and delivery of PR campaigns, press releases and media materials
  • Identify and develop story opportunities aligned to firm priorities
  • Ensure all content is on brand, on message and aligned to firm tone of voice

Data analysis & reporting

  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics across digital channels
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics and reporting platforms to evaluate campaign success
  • Produce clear, actionable reports and insights for key stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement through data-led decision making

Collaboration & team support

  • Work closely with lawyers, sector teams and M&BD colleagues
  • Support wider marketing and communications activity as required
  • Stay up to date with industry trends in digital marketing, PR and content

Skills & experience required

Essential

  • 3+ years’ experience in a marketing, PR or digital role (agency or in-house)
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO and social media
  • Experience using CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) to manage website content
  • Demonstrable experience with paid digital campaigns (PPC and paid social)
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actions
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Desirable

  • Experience working with media or supporting PR activity
  • Familiarity with SEO tools
  • Experience in professional services or a B2B environment
