Harper James is a growing, ambitious commercial law firm like no other. We are expanding our commercial team and have a number of exciting opportunities for senior commercial solicitors (with 10+ years experience) to join us.
Founded in 2014, our purpose is to enable growth-oriented businesses to succeed by delivering top-quality legal services and acting as partners in our clients’ journeys while ensuring our people enjoy a true work-life balance. Harper James continues to grow at c40%+ year on year. This year, more than 150 people will support over 4000 businesses, and we expect to double our turnover over the next two years.
Remote working
We offer truly remote working with access to meeting spaces in Birmingham, Cambridge, London, Manchester, Oxford, Southampton, Cardiff, and Sheffield. We work hard to ensure our lawyers are part of the team, collaborating on client and internal projects, sharing ideas, and enjoying each other’s company. The remote setup allows people to work from wherever they want, providing the flexibility they need.
What does the ideal candidate look like?
This opportunity is suited to lawyers with general commercial experience, particularly in:
- Good and services agreements and terms of business
- Distribution agreements
- Agency agreements
- Introducer/referral agreements
- Terms for online sales of goods and/or services
- Website terms
- Software licences and EULAs
- Software development/support agreements
- SaaS agreements and terms
The workload is varied, supporting businesses of different sizes across various sectors.
