Employee Incentives Associate Solicitor (4-7 years PQE)
Harper James is a full-service commercial law firm with a unique subscription-based model for ambitious SMEs. We’ve grown rapidly and recently secured private-equity backing from LDC to fuel our next phase of expansion. We’re a remote-first, no-ego team of 140+ people. Now we’re hiring Associates with 4-7 years’ PQE across our growing Employee Incentives practice area.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a specialised Employee Incentives Solicitor of 4-7 years PQE with the following experience which might have been gained in a legal or consulting environment:
- Advising on commercial and practical issues related to the structure and design, implementation and operation of reward structures, employee equity and cash incentive plans.
- Drafting a wide range of incentive plan documentation (plan rules, board minutes and shareholder consents, employer and employee communications, trust documentation).
The team also advises on transitions into employee ownership trusts and experience of these transactions would be welcome. Reward tax experience is also welcome.
You’ll need to be ambitious, commercially minded and eager to take the next step. You should be skilled at building strong relationships and delivering practical advice.
