We are looking for reliable and customer-focused HGV Class 1 Drivers to complete multi-drop store deliveries for a major supermarket chain.
DUTIES:
- Carrying out multi-drop store and RDC work in a safe and timely manner
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
- Adhering to driver hours regulations and working time rules
- Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues to the transport office
If you are a Professional HGV Class 1 Driver in the Goole area
- Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift with average 10 - 12-hour shifts
- Flexible shifts with consistent ongoing work and job security
- Supportive, customer-focused team available 24/7
- Free onsite training and ongoing driver support
- Driver portal displaying payslips, holiday accrual and assignment details
- Access to mentoring and mental health first aider support
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C + E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
- Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to complete multi-drop deliveries and manual handling tasks
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
