Salary: Grade G scp 23 to 27 - £30,113 to £33,424 per annum (Full time equivalent salary: £34,434 to £38,220)
Full time Term time plus 10 days Permanent 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8:30am - 4pm (including an unpaid 30 minute lunch break).
We are seeking to appoint a committed, compassionate, and highly motivated individual to join Harper Green School, a forward‑thinking and values‑driven school within the Leverhulme Academy Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting our young people, ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and able to succeed.
The successful candidate will become part of a supportive and dedicated pastoral team, working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Pastoral Coordinators to promote the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of all students. The role will involve responding to safeguarding concerns and disclosures, liaising effectively with Children’s Services and external agencies, and leading on safeguarding risk management plans to ensure appropriate support is in place for vulnerable students.
