Harper Green School, part of Leverhulme Academy Trust, is recruiting a Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes during a class teacher's absence, under the direction of teaching and senior staff. Duties centre on delivering set work programmes and supporting pupils, alongside administration, in-class support, exam invigilation and break duty. The permanent post is full-time across term time plus five days, with hours set Monday to Thursday and a shorter Friday. Enhanced DBS clearance is required and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Supervise whole classes during the class teacher's absence
- Implement work programmes under the guidance of teaching and senior staff
- Assist students in relevant activities in line with their needs and school policies
- Undertake administrative duties
- Provide in-class support
- Invigilate exams
- Cover school break and lunchtime duties

- An appropriate degree or HLTA status
Experience
- Significant school experience, as an alternative to a degree or HLTA status
