An experienced Quantity Surveyor is required to join the Commercial team based in Newry. This role will manage the commercial and financial aspects of projects, ensuring cost efficiency, contract compliance, and profitability.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee cost control, budgeting, and subcontractor management for assigned projects.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor project performance and prepare regular financial reports.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks while maximising project margins.
  • Support monthly cost and margin reporting and assist with final accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior members of the commercial team and ensure compliance with company procedures.
The Person:
  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong understanding of contracts and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in cost estimation, financial analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • RICS membership is desirable but not essential.
  • Full clean UK/ROI driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites in the Greater Dublin area.
