You’ll run a high-performing team of three, orchestrate a network of 40+ coaches and facilitators, and make sure every client programme lands exactly as it should. You will be joining a successful learning and development consultancy specialising in creating high-performing cultures, developing leaders, and helping teams tackle the challenges that matter most. The Client Delivery Lead role combines hands-on leadership with the chance to shape operational systems and influence strategic growth.
The Role
As the Client Delivery Lead, you will be the operational backbone of the business, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You’ll lead the client team, coordinate the network of 40+ coaches, and manage the systems and processes that enable seamless, profitable delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day client delivery operations, ensuring seamless planning and execution of programmes and workshops.
- Manage, develop, and inspire the client team, providing clarity, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee a global network of facilitators and coaches, ensuring the right talent is matched to each project.
- Own operational systems, processes, and tools to support scalable growth and efficiency.
- Support commercial performance by optimising resource utilisation, cost efficiency, and delivery margins.
- Act as part of the extended leadership team, contributing to strategic operational planning.
What we’re looking for:
- Substantial experience in client operations, programme delivery, or service delivery leadership.
- Proven track record of managing operational teams and complex delivery portfolios.
- Strong process design and operational systems thinking.
- Experience managing external associates, freelancers, or partner networks.
- Excellent project and resource planning skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident communicator able to influence senior leaders, clients, and partners.
- Solutions-focused, calm under pressure, and commercially aware.
Desirable:
- Experience in L&D, executive coaching, or training consultancy.
- Background in scale-up or fast-growing SME environments.
- Experience coordinating global client delivery.
