Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer with experience in food manufacturing looking to hear about new opportunities across the industry?

We’re expanding our Engineering network and are looking to speak with Multi-Skilled Engineers from across the UK food manufacturing sector. We work with food manufacturers across a range of categories and regularly support engineering hires across different sites, shift patterns and levels of responsibility.

Whether you’re actively considering your next move or simply want to understand what opportunities are available in the market, we’d be interested in speaking with engineers who have a strong electrical and mechanical background and experience working within fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

You will typically be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across production and manufacturing equipment.
• Responding to breakdowns and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Working to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects across site.
• Identifying recurring faults and implementing effective long-term solutions.
• Maintaining accurate engineering and maintenance records.
• Working closely with Production and Operations teams to support manufacturing performance.
• Supporting machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning where required.
• Ensuring engineering activity is completed in line with Health & Safety and food manufacturing standards.

What’s required?

• Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar within a manufacturing environment.
• Food or FMCG manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial.
• Strong electrical and mechanical engineering capabilities.
• A relevant engineering qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with fault finding, breakdowns and planned maintenance.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with wider site teams.
• Flexibility around different shift patterns depending on the opportunity.
