The Student Records Enhancement Manager has overall responsibility for leading the work of the Student Records Office, including managing the work and priorities of all members of the Student Records Team. The postholder will be responsible for data quality and enhancement for student records for which the team is responsible, as well as identifying and implementing process improvements, automation and enquiry enhancement, acting in an advisory capacity, and supporting other teams in managing students' records. The postholder will also primarily be responsible for all work undertaken by the team relating to the Student Loans Company.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Student Records Team and prioritise work.
- Ensure data quality and enhancement of student records.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation and enquiry enhancements.
- Act in an advisory capacity to other teams managing student records.
- Support the wider Registry Services Team in system improvements and enhancements.
- Oversee work relating to the Student Loans Company.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience of managing a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Track record of delivering process enhancements and implementing automations.
- Background in Higher Education preferred; at least degree level or significant equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrable experience of collaborative working and achieving improvement targets.
- High motivation, enthusiasm and a drive to achieve change for the benefit of the team, students and the wider university community.
