Responsibilities

  • Create and refine models to predict particle behaviour, calibrate them to 95% accuracy, and establish sensor systems for real-time data acquisition.
  • Execute validation trials, optimise processes (e.g., improving blade geometry), and lead initiatives to reduce mixing time by 15%, waste by 25%, and unplanned downtime by 30%.
  • Design a training program to enhance internal staff competency in simulation software and establish communication channels for a data-driven culture of process improvement, contributing to manufacturing efficiency at Epwin Window Systems.
  • Present project progress and technical findings at Local Management Committee meetings every two months, covering milestones, risk status, and optimisation opportunities.
  • Assess commercial impact by quantifying improvements and identifying further development opportunities.
  • Contribute to frameworks for collaboration between Harper Adams University and Epwin, including student projects and research.
  • Maintain professional conduct reflecting both organisations’ standards at external events.

Experience / Qualifications
