For Harper Adams to be a premier provider of higher education for the land-based industries, it is essential to have expertise to underpin our provision within this sector. We are therefore looking to appoint a new member of the Land and Property Management team, to teach into our undergraduate, postgraduate and apprentice programmes, as well as to help identify, develop and deliver new streams of work in collaboration with colleagues and industry partners. This appointment represents an opportunity to support our industry-leading teaching and research in land and property management. We are currently particularly interested in those with experience in rural property and real estate, the management of the sustainable built environment, all aspects of commercial and residential real estate and valuation, property development and investment appraisal.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate and apprentice programmes.
- Help identify, develop and deliver new streams of work in collaboration with colleagues and industry partners.
- Support industry-leading teaching and research in land and property management.
- Spend significant time at the university, with occasional remote working.
Qualifications
- Good range of experience in land and property management and real estate, with particular expertise in rural property, real estate valuation, development and investment appraisal.
- Good undergraduate degree in a relevant topic.
- Professional experience is essential; academic experience desirable but not mandatory. Opportunity to obtain a teaching qualification once in post.
