Location: Harper & Keele Veterinary School. Part‑time: 0.2 – 0.8 fte, indefinite or fixed‑term opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver small‑group tutorial teaching and case‑based learning throughout the foundation phase of the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVetMS) programme.
- Teach anatomy, physiology, animal management, behaviour, welfare and animal health sciences, and provide tutoring in academic skills, professional behaviours, communication skills and reflective practice.
- Facilitate and deliver case‑based learning in the 3rd year of the programme, focusing on veterinary pathology and preparation for clinical practice.
- Support student wellbeing and pastoral care in partnership with academic mentors and central student support services.
- Contribute to the educational design and development of teaching materials.
Qualifications
- Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) or eligible for RCVS registration without the requirement to sit the statutory membership examination.
