Join Harper Adams University as a Dairy Technical Science Officer. We have opportunities to join our award-winning RABDF Gold Cup Winners 2024 team at Harper Adams University. The Dairy Technical Science Officer focuses on the care of the farm’s 300 Holsteins, milked through a 40-point GEA internal rotary, in accordance with best principles of milk and dairy hygiene. We are looking for motivated team members willing to develop new skills.

Benefits include:

  • 10 days on and 4 days off continuous rota
  • Shared accommodation available with other farm staff in a modern four-bedroom house (6-minute walk / 2-minute drive from the farm)

Duties to include:

  • Milking on two shifts per day
  • Pressure washing
  • Keeping the parlour clean and maintained to a high standard

Requirements:

Previous experience of milking and working with livestock is required; training and ongoing support will be provided.
