Key Duties
- You will play a key role in the service of food and drink in this busy cafe.
- Serve customers in a polite & friendly manner.
- Ensure high quality, customer focused provision of hot and cold food and beverages.
- Cash handling and stock security.
- Setting up the Café offering in accordance with department standards.
- Compliance of the Department's Food Safety System.
- Consistently delivering a professional and efficient service to our customers.
- Ensuring a professional and hygienic appearance.
- Ensuring cleaning and closing procedures are carried out and documented.
- Ensuring defects of buildings or equipment are reported in the correct manner.
- Produce and serve Barista standard coffees and other beverages.
- Carry out any reasonable requests from your supervisor.
- Be prepared to help (where possible) with special events i.e. Graduation, Open Days and Royal Visits.
- All other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the post and the salary range of the grade.
