Role Description
The Advanced Practice Nurse / Advanced Nurse Practitioner will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within our on-site clinic in Harpenden in a full or part time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive health assessments, travel risk assessment and management, childhood immunisations, phlebotomy, weight management and many more. Additional tasks include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory and clinical governance standards, and participating in continuous improvement of care pathways and patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current NMC registration with proven experience in primary care
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with GPs, nutritionists and other clinicians to deliver integrated care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultation skills, with a focus on discretion, empathy, and building long-term patient relationships.
- Solid clinical governance, documentation, and IT skills, including use of electronic medical records and adherence to relevant legal and regulatory standards.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and willingness to engage with innovative, preventative, and personalised care models.
